How long will it take to receive my order?

PLEASE NOTE: The delivery times below are based on our experience shipping to these locations, but please keep in mind they’re just estimates. Where you’re located within each country can make a difference as well.

If you need to receive your order before your Japan trip please make sure to leave lots of time for it to arrive.

Japan Post is very efficient, so parcels usually leave Japan within a couple days. After that, delivery time depends on your local postal service and any customs processing along the way.

🇺🇸 USA: 3-4 weeks 

🇨🇦 Canada: 3-4 weeks (if there has been a postal strike recently this could take longer) 

🇬🇧🇮🇪 UK & Ireland: 10-14 days 

🇦🇺 Australia: 2-3 weeks

🇳🇿 New Zealand: 2 weeks 

🇰🇷 South Korea: 10-14 days 

🇭🇰 Hong Kong: 10-14 days

🇸🇬 Singapore: 7-10 days

🇯🇵 Within Japan: 2-3 days

How can I order to my hotel in Japan?

When you place an order please use your hotel address as the shipping address, and make sure the name matches the name of the person on the hotel reservation. 

Then please send us an email (nekonekopost@gmail.com) letting us know your check-in date. We’ll make sure it arrives in time for your check-in! 

Let the staff know you're expecting a package from Neko Neko Post when you check-in to ensure it goes to the right person.

I placed an order but didn’t get any confirmation

Our confirmation emails often end up in the spam folder, please check there!

Do you ship worldwide?

We currently offer shipping to: Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Isle of Man, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan.

Items in our shop have varied shipping prices based on their size/weight. 

(PLEASE NOTE: Customers are responsible for any duties or tariff charges that may occur upon delivery, these are not included in the purchase price.)

How are the packages shipped?

All Neko Neko Post orders are hand-packed by us and shipped from Tokyo, Japan using the Japan Post postal service.

Is there tracking on the packages?

No - we ship using Japan Post to keep postage prices as low as possible and they don't offer tracking. 

Will I be charged import fees?

From our experience most of our customers aren't charged extra fees upon delivery - but customs policies vary by country, so this can't be guaranteed.

Depending on your country's customs regulations, your order may be subject to import taxes, duties, or tariffs when it arrives.

Any customs or import fees are not included in the purchase price and are the responsibility of the recipient.

We recommend checking your local customs policies before placing an order so there are no surprises.

Please understand we are unable to offer refunds for orders returned to us due to unpaid customs or import fees.

What is your refund policy? 

We offer refunds on lost or damaged items only. If your package is damaged or items are missing when you receive it, please contact us at nekonekopost@gmail.com for a replacement or refund.  

Please double check the quantity in your cart before placing your order. We cannot offer refunds on any accidentally ordered items that have already been shipped out.

 If you require a refund due to customer error and the package has yet to be shipped out, we are able to offer a refund but will subtract a $5 processing fee to cover the refund costs of our payment provider.
